Once, you were called Jenna. Here, you are warmth, and you are joy. Nothing is wrong, and nothing has ever been wrong. All is light, and fullness, and beauty. You float in transcendence, swimming in eternity. You sing, exaltation overflowing. You dance laughter, and all things dance with you. God is Love.
Your phone vibrates its love, but you cannot answer phones in Heaven.

You embrace your father. You cry joy. You embrace your grandmother. You ARE the embrace, and so is she. Everyone is here, and everyone was always here. All is eternity, and you will always be as you always were–together. As it should have been.
Your phone vibrates and you vibrate, for you are the phone and the phone is you. But you cannot answer phones in Heaven.

Miriam is here! Miriam, who was ripped from your soul just six months after she joined it. Three years of cold and hurt followed on Earth. You desperately hung on after your daughter’s death, but the wound ached so much. Now the hurt is gone.
Always, it was gone.
You laugh your tears, and she laughs, and she glows. You hold her up to the light of God–the light that is all things–and you sing His love. Holy! Holy! Holy! Is the Lord! His love is your love is her love is all love, and you cannot contain it all, and that is why everyone is here to love as one.
John is not here.
Your phone is here, and it vibrates, but you cannot answer phones in Heaven.
//You have one new message, thirty-nine seconds long//

''No Earthly Cares Ending''
Everything has been made new. God has wiped out every tear from mankind’s eyes. Death is no more, neither is mourning, nor outcry, nor pain, anymore. The former things have passed away.
You have no more concerns for the affairs of those left behind on the Earth. In an eyeblink they will be reunited will all Love, or they will perish, for God is Just, and God is Love. You immerse yourself in the exultation of all life and all love. You sing.
Holy!
You are the act of singing.
Holy!
You are the song.
Holy!
Phones are just one more chain upon the living. You step free of your chains. You have always been free of your chains.
You are Jenna, and you are Miriam, and you are the eternity of transcendent joy.
There is only joy, only warmth and light. God is gentle, and he shields you from the anguish upon the face of the Earth. And yet… you remember John. He was fractured love. The love of an earthly, imperfect sort. He was… your husband. Why isn’t John here?
[[Question God->Why]] | [[Trust in God->Trust]]
God knows your concerns. His loving spirit embraces you, and brings comfort to your soul. God is Just, and has perfect reason that mankind cannot comprehend. You shiver with glorious delight, and sing your ecstasy.
Your phone vibrates in glorious delight, but you cannot answer phones in Heaven.

There is no goodness apart from God, and God is all that is good. You are wise, and place your trust in the Most High. Eternal love suffuses every fiber of your being, and you sing your ecstasy.

A hair-thin crack appears in your joy. It is almost too small to see. John has sinned. When his penance is paid, he will be reunited with you and Mariam. The thought fills you with warmth. Should you intervene to ease his burden of his sins?

John’s blasphemy sears you. It brings pain into Heaven, and it cuts all those near you as well. The chorus of joy turns briefly to cries of pain. You realize now that sin cannot be allowed into Heaven, for it destroys all love that it touches. How great must his sins be, that God left him behind? You cannot question God’s wisdom. It is time to free yourself from mortal concerns.
But John hurts so much.
You waver as you consider.
[[Comfort the Sinner->Comfort]] | [[Do Not – This is John’s Test->Test]]
Your concerns for John are beginning to mar your joy. They weigh you down, and you, in turn, weigh down your father, and your daughter, and all who love you. All of eternity feels the sharp pain of your burden. You must give your burdens over to God, for he can bear their weight. Only you can separate yourself from God’s love.
[[Question God about John->Question]] | [[Entrust Your Worries to God->No Cares Ending]]
God understands your worries. God is not offended by your questioning. God embraces you, enfolding you in his forgiving arms. You are but a child to him, and there is nothing you can do to slight him, no more than infant Miriam could do anything to slight you. Acceptance bubbles up within you. The warmth of love suffuses you. You are joyfully reunited with all eternity in glorious worship.

There is love enough in Heaven for all creation, and yet more. You open your heart, and spill out a shining trickle of Eternal Love, allowing it to fall upon John.

''Justice Ending''
The moment John kills himself, God’s wisdom is made manifest. For one brief instant, you are made one with John.
You see his ultimate sin.
You relive the moment of Miriam death–as John. You become him. You feel every sickening thing he felt as he failed to act that night.
It is you that prays for her to end. It is you that ignores her, lets her choke to death. It is you that feels pleasure in the dreams of a life without her. You sleep soundly, and happily, as your daughter fights for air, until her lungs can fight no more.
God cannot be one with sin, just as darkness cannot be within light. Still, He sought to give John one last chance. His love was great enough, He wished to forgive and embrace even him. In the end, John failed even in that.
The feeling of rightness, of justice, is slowly lifting from your chest. It is not an emotion of love. You are glad that God is Just, but you are joyous that he is Love. Gradually, warmth covers you. It lifts you high into the light. You forget why your chest was burning. Your tears continue to flow. They are not tears of rage, but tears of joy. They were always tears of joy. There is nothing else but joy. Nothing is wrong, and everything is beautiful forever.
Glory! Glory to the Most High! Holy! Holy! Holy is He!
You sing, and you are one with love, and love is one with you.

You are cold. The chorus of joy echoes hollowly around you, but you are not of it. John. John killed your daughter. And now… now he wants what? Forgiveness? Comfort??
Only the joyous laughter of Miriam keeps you whole. She is yours again. You smile, and you partake in her love as she comforts you. Light bathes you. There is no shortage of Love in heaven. But you do not know if you can give any more to John, after what he did.
[[Comfort the Sinner->Carter]] | [[Trust God’s Judgement->Bye Hello]]
You find love within you to pour upon John. It is just a drop, but it draws Heaven with it, and a torrent of God’s Love washes down upon him. There is no end to Love.
Eternity itself vibrates its love, and there is no phone to answer.

''Mercy Ending''
There are no more phone calls or voicemails. You do not question God about this, for God doesn’t reply, or plan, or strive. God is Eternity, and It only loves.
As this trial fades, you allow yourself to float on the currents of transcendent peace again. Miriam floats with you, and within you, as do all people, all who ever lived and loved. The events don’t fade from memory–they fade from existence itself. They were not joyful, and only joy survives eternally.
You laugh again, and you have always been laughing, and everyone has always been laughter. Existence is a dance, a song, a single eternal laugh. The now of bliss is all there is. And it is good.
